The DCP was to meet the representatives at 11am, but instead she had gone to attend a meeting with the commissioner of police. The disappointed RWA representatives led by Gurgaon citizens’ council and its president RS Rathee, waited for the DCP in her office for about one-and-half-hours but had to return as she was reported to be ‘busy’ in a meeting with senior police officials.

The DCP’s act has not only disappointed the residents, but also her intentions to implement one-way traffic on master road leading from Huda City Centre to Golf Course road via Galleria has come under a cloud, the residents said.

“She has been acting on the advice of some influential people, certain educational institutions with vested interests and business establishments and enacted one-way traffic plan without consulting the resident associations around. And we will not tolerate this,” said TN Kaul, one of the representatives.
