It happened while Akshay was shooting in Singapore for Priyadarshan’s De Dhana Dhan. The actor was supposed to water ski for a scene. Since Akshay had never done water skiing before in his life, director Priyadarshan, gave him half an hour to practice. Poor Akshay found out that it is super difficult to stay balanced on two skis and he fell, time and again.

Akshay recalls, “This particular stunt needed perfect technique and tons of luck… I had neither on my side that time. At the back of my mind, I’ve always wondered what is going to be ‘that’ thing in life which I’m going to find unbelievably difficult? Ha ha ha. I found it.” However, Akshay managed to keep his cool and laughed each time he fell in the water. The actor battled on and finally managed to conquer the stunt. “I’ve always used my determination, talent and hard work to get me through everything, Akshay says.
