The Jharkhand Government on Wednesday recommended Alfred George De Rozario as the Anglo-Indian nominee to the state Assembly.
The recommendation made by the Shibu Soren-led UPA cabinet would be sent to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi, cabinet secretary Aditya Swarup said.
The Jharkhand Assembly has 81 elected members and one nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community, who has voting right.
