A defeated TDP candidate, K M Rehmatullah committed suicide by shooting himself in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh this morning, police sources said.
Rehmatullah (34), unsuccessfully contested from Anantapur assembly constituency.

He was defeated by Congress candidate B Narayana Reddy by 37,000 votes.
Rehmatullah went inside his bedroom and shot himself with his licensed revolver.
