The Indian cricket team will not have much sleep Thursday night as their departure to Lahore has been delayed by over two hours.

The team, which was scheduled to depart by a Pakistan International Airlines flight at 5.40 pm IST on Thursday, is now expected to leave at 8.00 pm IST.

The delay was due to non-arrival of the PIA flight from Lahore, PIA office in New Delhi said.

The Indians are scheduled to play three Tests and five one-day internationals on the 46-day tour.

They begin their campaign with a three-day warm up game in Lahore from January 7.
