Delegation meets cm for toll removal

To demand removal of the Sirhaul toll plaza on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, representatives of the Toll Hatao Sangharsh Samiti (THSS) met Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at his New Delhi residence and handed over the memorandum on Saturday.

To demand removal of the Sirhaul toll plaza on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, representatives of the Toll Hatao Sangharsh Samiti (THSS) met Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at his New Delhi residence and handed over the memorandum on Saturday.

The delegation comprised THSS chairman Col Kanwar Bhardwaj, co-coordinator RS Rathee, Attar Singh Sandhu, DC Yadav, core group member, FORWA chairman Dharam Sagar, Bar Association president Kulbhushan Bhardwaj, Santokh Singh, JN Yadav, Vipin Khanna and KK Juneja.

Hooda had assured that the Haryana government would not mind spending more funds.

The Toll Hatao Sangharsh Samiti representatives claimed that the chief minister assured them that he would discuss the issue with officials of the Central government and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on February 17.
