Called Cloud Cuckoo Farm, the two-day children's carnival will be held from January 16-17 at Khushii Farm in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj. It hopes to unleash the creativity and imagination of kids.

Flagging off her own corporate journey, Pallavi Luthra, daughter of VLCC group founder Vandana Luthra, is the brain behind the Cloud Cuckoo Farm (CCF) concept. The money raised from this carnival will be given to an NGO Khushii that supports causes related to the girl child.

"CCF was my childhood fantasy and I always wanted to be in a wonderland where no one ever grows up. It's a dream come true for me," Pallavi said about the concept at a press conference here Monday.

"Children bring so much joy into our lives. My nephew reminds me of innocence, laughter and love. He has inspired me to give children more to look forward to," Pallavi told IANS after the press conference.

The carnival will have an animal kingdom where kids can play with dogs and cats, a chocolate factory, a rainbow pond, a small movie theatre, a saloon and a bread house where they can order food, shakes and smoothies.

The fair will also invite kids under the Khushii patronage to enjoy and participate in the painting, singing and reading zones.

Giving the event a stylish edge is leading designer Ritu Beri, who will unveil a special mother and child fashion presentation on day one.

"There will be a fashion show where both mother and kid will walk the ramp together. It will be fun and at the same time exciting also," Beri said.
