Given the situation they were in after Day 3, Delhi needed a miracle to save their Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka.
But the seamers came to their rescue as Delhi reduced Karnataka to 149 for 6 after the Rahul Dravid-led side was chasing a modest target of 172 in 57 overs.
Only 38 overs were bowled in Karnataka's second innings before the umpires called off play due to bad light.
The draw gave Karnataka three points, on the basis of their first-innings lead, while Delhi got just one.
Delhi have four points from two outings, while Karnataka, who won their first game, have eight.
Over three hours were lost in the morning due to bad light and the proceedings could begin only after noon.
Delhi's last pair of Pawan Suyal and Parwinder Awana added 21 runs to the overnight 255 for 9.
With not much time left, Karnataka openers, KB Pawan and CM Gautam, took time to settle down. Medium pacers Parvinder Awana, Sumit Narwal and debutant Pawan Suyal picked up a wicket each to reduce Karnataka to 50 for 3 in 21.4 overs.
Awana induced an edge from Gautam (5), who was caught by Shikhar Dhawan at first slip. Amit Verma (5) followed when he was adjudged leg before to Narwal.

However, Narwal did not allow him to stay in the middle for more then 35 minutes. He was caught behind by Puneet Bisht for just five. Earlier, Yogesh Nagar missed an easy opportunity to run Dravid out.
