Delhi Metro chief E Sreedharan was on Sunday honoured with Person of the Year award by Kerala's leading TV channel India Vision in Thiruvananthapuram.
Sreedharan was named for the award for being "instrumental in making the Konakan railway a reality and also the Delhi Metro".

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 100,000.
Sreedharan hails from Pattambi in Palakkad district of Kerala.
