Deliberate defamation

In his column Candid Corner, Abhishek Singhvi rightly points out that the allegations against Pratibha Patil have not been raised during her four decades in public life (Don't blank on all this, July 5). I firmly believe that the BJP’s propaganda machine along with media and electronic channels played a significant role in defaming her.
