Demonstrations by Anna supporters in Ghaziabad

Supporters of anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare today staged demonstrations in Ghaziabad against the Centre for arresting the Gandhian and burnt an effigy of union minister Kapil Sibal.

The demonstrations were held in Raja Nagar area here.

The BJP will take out a march in the evening on Wednesday against rampant corruption, in support of Anna Hazare and a strong Lokpal, BJP western UP media-in-charge Sardar S P Singh said.

Last evening, protests had been staged in various places of the district including Ghaziabad, Modinagar, Hapur, Pilakhuwa, Loni and Sahibabad.
