Depp desperate to quit smoking

Actor Johnny Depp says he is trying to get over the 'dumb' addiction for the sake of his kiddies.

According to Contactmusic, Depp rolls his own Bali Shag cigarettes and has been forced to drastically cut back on the amount he smokes but now is trying to completely quit for good.

He says, "I'm not far away from quitting. I've cut down quite heavily. It's such a dumb addiction. And with the kiddies, man, just being a parent - you start worrying 10 years ahead of the curve."
