Heavily embroidered lehengas in kaleidoscopic colours are on display in the adjoining store, clashing directly with the subtle white and gold interiors of the restaurant. There is also a private dining area, which is flush with corny candy-pink lights, complete with large photographs of newly-wed couples adorning the walls.

At first look, the stewards, in their all-white attire look like they’re all paying homage to the actor, Jeetendra. The managers with their white suits and peach shirts look even quainter.

Appetisers
Among starters, the non-veg Tapaz Platter (Rs 375) is a delight with lamb meatballs, herb-seared chicken, prawns, calamari and mushrooms. While the melt-in-your-mouth meatballs turn out to be the best we’ve tasted, the chicken could have done with a little more flavour. The Eggplant Parmigiano (Rs 200) is comforting with its triple layers of cheese and basil topping.
