Anand is on a six-day visit to the Balkans country during which he will visit possible film locations, notably in the picturesque northwestern Istria peninsula.

Anand said he was there to review "how we can excite the world on some motion picture that I could do (in Croatia)," adding, "it would help Croatia to be known all over the world".

The visit of the 82-year-old actor-producer-director, known for his boundless energy and enthusiasm, is organized by Croatia's Tourist Board, whose head Niko Bulic visited India in April.

"At the time we discussed with Anand the possibility that visits Croatia and assess whether it is possible that we become a country where Bollywood could make movies," Bulic said.
