Considering heavy rush of devotees, the time for darshan at the famous Badrinath temple has been increased, temple sources said on Saturday.

The temple which used to be closed for two hours in the afternoon after bhog (food) to the god has been reduced to mere 15 minutes now, the sources said.

This has been done to help larger numbers of pilgrims have a glimpse of the idol in the famous temple popularly known as "chardhams", they added.
