AMID DEPLOYMENT of security personnel, religious fervour further gripped the Sankat Mochan temple premises with scores of devotees thronging the temple to pay obeisance to Lord Hanuman on first Saturday after the blast here on Tuesday.
It may be noted that the Tuesdays and Saturdays are dedicated to Lord Hanuman when lakhs of devotees throng here and perform his worship.
Ever since morning, bells of temple started ringing and the premises was overcrowded with usual devotees thronging the place without any fear as if nothing untoward had happened here recently. Till afternoon, a crowd of at least 500 devotees was present in and around the main temple. But the number was little less than previous Saturdays.
It is not the adequate security arrangement after the bomb blast here on Tuesday evening but the faith of Lord Hanuman that was drawing scores of devotees since morning. Lakhs of devotees were expected to come here till late evening.
Several groups of devotees were engaged in performing ‘bhajan and kirtan’ on separate places in the temple including the spot where the bomb blast took place. The spot had been cleaned fully after the forensic experts carried out investigations.

{{/usCountry}}Some jawans of PAC and Central security were deployed in and around the temple but no metal detector enclosure has been set up yet by the administration to check anyone taking any objectionable object inside from the main entrance.
