DHBVN changes power supply schedule

In view of annual seasonal change and requirement of consumers, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has changed the schedule of power supply for rural domestic and agriculture sectors.

In view of annual seasonal change and requirement of consumers, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has changed the schedule of power supply for rural domestic and agriculture sectors.

An official spokesperson said on Sunday that the villages and tube wells would continue to get power supply for 14 hours a day and eight hours a day respectively. The rural domestic supply of electricity will now be daily from 6pm to 6 am during night and from 12 noon to 2pm during the day.

Power supply to agriculture sector will be given in two groups. Group-I will run from 10pm to 4am and 2pm to 6pm daily and Group-II will run from 6am to 12 noon and 4pm to 6pm daily.

He said that in view of availability of power in the state, the power utilities had been supplying electricity to all sectors for more time than the schedule during this year.
