Hair: Worn out looks were in. In hairstyles, there were ponytails and the omnipresent fringes or the side bangs and hence the side parting. Frizzy hair was also in. Hair colour in general was not popular and the most people went for were the red streaks.

Make-Up: Smoky eyes and nude lip colour was in. Thicker eyebrows with highlighted cheeks did the trick. Eyeliners were back with a bang and a new lip colour— orange lit up the face.

Nails: As always, French manicure was in. The new chip on the nail were swarovski crystals or the nail art. With Rihanna and Gwen Steffani flaunting their blue nail paints, many talons were seen in the cool hue.

Facials: Oxygen facials for dehydrated skin, lightening facial for dark and dull skin and diamond facials for a glowing skin. Dr Blossom Kochhar is an aromatherapist, aesthetician and hair stylist.

Bollywood beauties and hunks that doubled up as trendsetters:

Actresses
Priyanka Chopra's sleek hairstyle in Dostana — Poker straight hair with lots of layers and side bangs.
Mugdha Godse’s funky look in Fashion — Red streaks on black hair looked ultra chic.
