As Chauhan steps out in certain pockets of Raghogarh, saffron flags surface atop houses and dwellings. Posters carrying photographs of the 'humble son of a farmer' get pasted on the walls, giving the semblance of a fight.

Chauhan does not forget to remind the people of his position in the BJP and the power he will wield if BJP forms the government. Fellow general secretary Pramod Mahajan flanked him as the two addressed a public meeting here.

On Saturday, the BJP flags, banners and posters matched those of the Congress.

It was a Congress banner that came in handy for the BJP leaders. The huge banner screamed, “Mera Raja mahan hai, neta nahin Bhagwan hai.”

Ridiculing the slogan, Mahajan warned people against the 'inflated' ego of their Raja and asked them to cut him down to size. People cheered as they made fun of Digvijay.
