STATE CONGRESS president Subhash Yadav on Thursday said that the decreased victory margin for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the just concluded by-election amply proved that the people are disillusioned with the performance of the party?s government in the State.

Alleging that the party adopted all the undemocratic means to win the Vidisha by- election, he said in a statement that the victory margin in the constituency has reduced from 2.60 lakh in the previous election to just 85,000.

Lauding the efforts of the Congress workers who worked in the constituency for the by-poll he said they should not feel disheartened. ‘The party has lost only a battle, not any war,’ the Congress leader said.
