The government, which is planning the all round development of important cities under the multi-crore ambitious Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNURM) has invited suggestions from traders, social activists, political leaders, industrialists, engineers and people from other sections of the society . In a meeting held here recently, district magistrate Amrit Abhijat has called upon the citizens to play an active role in the mega project, which will be stretched over the period of 25 years.
The development plan which include the restructuring of the public places like road widening, parking problems, traffic problems, flyovers, underground markets etc, will be taken in cities like Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Agra and Lucknow.
