He inspected the Allenganj locality as per his schedule this morning where he found poor sanitation and worst condition of roads.

He ordered the officials to remove the debris lying in front of the Diamond Jubilee Hostel and re-open the drains of main road of the locality. He also directed cutting of three big trees situated in the middle of Motilal Nehru Road.

On the issue of alleged encroachment of the park for greenery by CO Shriram Pandey, the administrator demanded the Allahabad Development Authority to submit its report to him. One of the family members of Pandey told the DM that greenery was done following the approval by ADA itself. Abhijat showed his ire over NN officials on the worst condition of two main roads of the area and immediately ordered to carry out patch work on such roads within a week.

In a meeting held at his chamber he took strong exception on the role of officers and issued warning to Nagar Swasthya Adhikari Dr Arun Kumar, executive engineer Yashwant Kumar, junior engineer KS Chaubey, sanitary inspector KN Mishra and Assistant Engineer Mohammed Amin. He has again fixed April 7 to inspect the same locality.
