THE COMMITTEE comprising judicial officers of MP High Court here today submitted their reports afterexamining 5469-odd OMR answer sheets of Dental andMedical Admission Test (DMAT) 2006 to private dental and medical colleges.
On September 1, the HC had directed its Registrar (Judicial) C V Sirpurkar and Additional Registrar (Judicial-I) J P Gupta to find out whether there had been any erasing, over-writing, interpolation or tampering of any kind on the answer sheets, the court said.
The judicial officers on Wednesday submitted the report before a division bench comprising Chief Justice A K Patnaik and Justice S C Sinho. The court after receiving the report fixed the hearing on September 14.
As per the court's directives a copy of the report was given to the Advocate General and the petitioners' counsel. The judicial officers' report is based on the court directive asking to find out the roll numbers in which the answers were marked in pencil, pen or both - pencil and pen.
The report carries elaborate information on candidates who had taken the entrance test from the Sathya Sai College, Bhopal centre, from where complaints of irregularities have poured in to the Judges' Committee.
Already, the MP High Court here on September 11 permitted the Professional Education Board (PEB) to announce the date of Dental and Medical Admission Test (DMAT) to private institutes, and complete all the formalities including preparation of test schedule and admit-cards. But the HC has observed the test date would be subject to its decision.
