DMK on Monday won the Tirumangalam assembly bye-election.
DMK candidate Latha Athiyaman trounced her AIADMK rival M Muthuramalingam by 39,266 votes.
The bypoll was held on January 9. The DMK candidate polled 79,422 votes against Muthuramaligam's 40,156.
