The association wants that the doctors should be issued non-practicing allowances. Besides, it has sought reinstatement of doctors in 285 posts, which were cancelled from the peripheral areas. The association further demanded that uniform and fixed post-graduation policy for working doctors should be introduced and post-graduate increments be initiated. The OPD of the civil hospital caters to nearly 1,000 patients everyday.
