The underworld shadow refuses to leave Bollywood. After Sunjay Dutt and Govinda, actress Priyanka Chopra’s links are under a scanner. Chhota Shakeel on Sunday allegedly called her secretary Prakash Jaju and threatened to kill him if he did not withdraw a case against Priyanka.
Jaju has lodged a complaint with the Mhow police station against Chhota Shakeel, Priyanka and her father Ashok Chopra. Additional Superintendent of Police R D Khare said the police have registered a case against the three under section 507 of the IPC.
In his report, Jaju alleged that Ashok Chopra called him on his mobile at 10.56 a.m. on Sunday and asked him to withdraw the case against Priyanka. When Jaju refused, Ashok reportedly told him, “Theek hein, tu nahin maan raha hein toh, tere baap se baat karwata hoon…”
Ashok’s call was followed by the call from Chhota Shakeel at 11.26 am, Jaju said. Jaju was Priyanka’s secretary from 2000 to 2004. According to their agreement, she had to pay him 10 per cent of her income from films and other assignments, Jaju said.
