They are bogged down by numerous assignments and projects of various subjects. It is considered that passing Class 10th board exams is a milestone, and Class 12th board exams the destination.

In most of the cases students are told that grades in Class 12 are the gateway to any prestigious college in the University of Delhi.

I think parents play a major role in guiding and providing moral support to children. My parents gave the reigns of studies in my hands and asked me to manage my studies on my own. Though they used to keep a tab on my daily activities, they never stopped me from going out or reading novels. They made me understand that balancing academics with other activities in life is also important. Their very trust was the sole reason that kept me going.

When I was preparing for Class 12 board exams newspapers were overflowed with stress management techniques and helpline numbers and opinions from education counselors. It was scary, so I simply stopped paying attention to them. My focus was my health, my hobbies and my studies.
