Apprehensive of his government's dismissal, UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday warned the UPA government at the Centre that it would not complete its full term if it indulged in any such misadventure.
"If our government is dismissed, their government will also not complete its full term," the Samajwadi Party supremo said in a state party convention in Lucknow.
Charging the Congress with trying to win polls with the help of Rajbhavan, the SP chief said no elections could be won with the help of Governors.
He alleged that a conspiracy was on to allow the Vidhan Sabha complete its term and then let it dissolve automatically paving the way for President's rule in UP.
"All parties have ganged up against us and have demanded dismissal of our government, imposition of the President's rule and deployment of central forces during elections," he said.
"They don't trust the state police, not even Presiding Officers" who would probably be called from outside the state, Yadav said adding all this was being done to ensure defeat of his party at the hustings.
The SP supremo alleged that the Congress had turned vindictive against him after he refused to support Sonia Gandhi's name for the post of PM in 1998.
