A Danish research published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, says that men and woman who live an unhealthy lifestyle give up sex. Danish researchers surveyed more than 5,500 adult men and women, and found that unhealthy habits increase the chance of not having sex by up to 78% in men and 91% in women.

The survey shows that those with a bigger waistline had a 71% increase in the risk of sexual dysfunction, hard drug users had an 800% increase in the risk and hashish smoking women faced three times the risk of losing the ability to climax during sex.

A similar trend can be seen in metros where an increasing number of couples are having sex as less as once in three months while some are not having sex at all.

“The partner who is not burnt out could also start looking for sex outside the relationship,” he says. Experts suggest shedding weight, reducing stress, practicing yoga and meditation to keep the spark alive in your sex life.
