STATE COMMERCE and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur has advised doctors to have a sympathetic attitude towards patients.

Gaur was inaugurating a plastic surgery camp organised by Prerna Sewa Trust, Bhopal and Sahayog Sansthan, Indore at Jai Prakash Hospital here today. He said doctors should keep in mind that patients were irritable because of their sickness.

About 201 patients have registered themselves for plastic surgery at the camp. Minister for Health, Ajay Vishnoi presided over the function attended among others by the founder of Prerna Sewa Trust Sardar Dayal Singh Saluja and representative of Sahayog Sansthan Dr Anil Bhandari.

Ajay Vishnoi said a doctor is considered next only to god for patients. Doctors should live up to the reputation of their profession. He complemented US based plastic surgeon Padamshri Dr Sharad Dicksheet for rendering his services at the camp. He also lauded the services of the institutions organising the camp

Collector, Bhopal Sanjay Shukla said doctors of District Red Cross and doctors of J.P. Hospital and the para medical staff were also providing their services at the camp. Earlier, Prakash Khanuja and Dr Anil Bhandari threw light on activities of their respective institutions. Shyam Kishore Shukla proposed a vote of thanks. CMO Dr Deepak Verma was also present on the occasion.
