Praising the performance of Rahul Dravid as wicket-keeper, new chairman of the selection committee Kiran More on Thursday said he saw no reason to look for specialist stumpers in the limited version of the game.

"I don't think so," More replied when asked whether he would emphasise on roping in a specialist wicket-keeper for one-dayers.
"It all depends on the kind of match and the situation. Besides, Rahul has been keeping wickets for the last 100 one dayers or so and doing a good job," said the former Baroda cricketer, who had a long stint behind the stumps for the Indian team in the 80s and 90s, hours after his appointment to the new post.
More said the new post has given him a "great opportunity" to serve Indian cricket and promised that he would go about his task with an open mind.
"I will work in complete cooperation with colleagues and keep a very open communication with the captain and coach," he said.
More, who left for Bangalore by an evening flight to attend his first meeting as the head of the selection panel to choose the Indian team for the first Test against Australia, said he was yet to receive any report on the fitness status of master batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who was recuperating from a tennis elbow.
