Virender Sehwag was on Thursday named captain for the next two one-dayers against England in place of Rahul Dravid, who would be rested, after India clinched the series winning the fourth one-dayer in Kochi.

"The Selection Committee in consultation with coach Greg Chappell and Rahul Dravid himself decided that Dravid would be rested for next two matches at Guwahati and Jamshedpur and Sehwag will be the captain in his place," BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said in a statement.
VRV Singh has been included in the squad in place of Dravid.
Squad: Virender Sehwag (captain), Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Mohd Kaif, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wicketkeeper), Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Ramesh Powar, Shantakumaran Sreesanth, Ajit Agarkar, Rudra Pratap Singh, Venugopala Rao, Munaf Patel and Vikram Rajvir Singh.
