Delhi University on Tuesday said students seeking admission to the varsity should buy and submit their forms only from any of the 16 designated centres as applications from other places might not be accepted by the computers.
"Those who purchase or deposit (forms) at some other place will be doing so at their own risk as there is a possibility of such forms not being accepted by computers if they have been tampered with," the University's Dean of Students Welfare SK Vij said.
Observing that some unauthorised persons are selling the forms at rates higher than prescribed, Vij said only the designated centres have been asked to sell the forms or offer counselling.
"It has also come to our notice that some unauthorised persons have started websites in the name of Delhi University Helpline. We will not take responsibility of the information that they give," he said.
The aspirants should contact the University Information Centre or the official website, he added.
On the process of filling up of the pre-admission forms, he said candidates should not be worried in case the second sheet of the form is not clear as data will only be picked up from the first page.
