East UP poised for progress: Amar

Singh was addressing a public meeting at Gangotri Devi Station in Barhalganj in Gorakhpur district. Terming the party candidate’s victory in Kauriram assembly by-election a mandate against communal forces, he said the people of Kauriram had discarded the policies of hatred preached by the saffron forces. He said the state government was ready to open the floodgate of development in this region in April.

Singh, who is also chairman of Uttar Pradesh Development Council, said that India Glycone would establish a workshop here by investing around Rs 100 crore.

He said that the state government was marching ahead to transform Uttar Pradesh into Uttam Pradesh as various industrialists had made up their mind to invest in the state.

SP MP Mohan Singh said Deoria was neglected by successive governments but Mulayam was the first CM who forwarded various schemes for the development of the region.
