Playing a skipper’s knock, Mamta Sharma scored the first century of the tournament. She made a brisk 103 runs off 85 deliveries for VNS.

Earlier, VNS won the toss and decided to bat first. VNS set a target of 154 runs for Gitanjali College in the stipulated 20 overs.

In reply, Gitanjali College failed to stand up against CNS’s good bowling attack and lost the match by 66 runs. In the second match, UTD defeated Obaidullahganj College by 99 runs.

Chasing a target of 153 runs set by UTD, the team of Obaidullahganj College was routed for a mere 52 runs. Prabhjot and Arya scalped four wickets each for UTD.
