The Election Commission has served a notice on Madhya Pradesh Public Heatlh Engineering Minister Gauri Shanker Bisen asking him to respond to the charge of distributing wrist watches to journalists and some other persons in violation of the model code of conduct.

Seoni district collector Manaohar Dubey told PTI that the notice was served to the minister this morning and asked to reply by tomorrow evening.
Bisen was shown on a local TV channel distributing the watches.
