A reconciliation talk involving a group of people and police on Sunday could not find a way to rehabilitate two women who have been forced to live at the courtyard of their house.

Bimla Devi, despite being the owner of her house in Sector 23, has been living at the courtyard with daughter Meenu, 30, for the last two years. Bimla is a paralytic patient and Meenu is said to be mentally unstable.

Although accused Bimla’s son and his wife agreed to leave, social activists and the police were unable to find a way out as none of the victims are able to live without support.
