The Gurgaon police have rescued an eight-year-old boy from the custody of two kidnappers who had demanded a ransom of Rs. 5 lakh for his release. One of the kidnappers had been living as a tenant with the boy’s father Krishan Kumar, an engineer with a private firm.

The police arrested the kidnappers and rescued the boy from Muzzafarnagar in UP on Monday evening.
The boy, Hrithik, was kidnapped on July 3 by Habibur Rahman alias Raju Khan and Bablu. Khan, a tenant with the family for seven years, hails from Medhpura village of Bihar.
