The BMC squad today carried out anti-encroachment drive outside platform No 1 one and 5 at the main railway station. These encroachments were hampering the road-widening work.

The BMC has been carrying out developmental work worth Rs 1 crore outside platform No 1. The work included widening of road and construction footpaths. Besides, the widening work of the road from Alpana intersection to Platform No 5 is also under way.
