The government plans to incorporate environment as a compulsory subject in education syllabi, MAA Fatima, minister of state for human resource development told the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

The minister said the National Curriculum Framework (NFC) envisaged that environmental education should be infused at all stages of school education.
