Singh, an officer of the 1972 batch, had sought a bribeof Rs 2 lakh from milk societies to reverse his decision to increase the security deposit for supplying milk from Rs 6 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs.He was later sentenced to five years rigorous imprisonment.
