Ex-MLAs' DA on pension hiked

The Haryana government has enhanced dearness allowance (DA) on pension to ex-legislators of Haryana legislative assembly (former MLAs).

The Haryana government has enhanced dearness allowance (DA) on pension to ex-legislators of Haryana legislative assembly (former MLAs).

According to the notification issued by the chief secretary, now the former MLAs would get DA at the rate of 166% instead of 151% of the basic pension and family pension and dearness pension and dearness family pension with effect from January 1, 2013.
