ALL THE 59 liquor shops situated within 100 metres of schools have been sealed following the directives of High Court.

Some of the Indian Made Foreign Liquor shops sealed are Hazratganj crossing, Lalkuan, Indira Nagar (Poly technique), Takrohi Bazaar, Bagiya Number 3, Durgaganj, Gosaiganj, and Nogoha. The beer shops that are facing closure are: Hazratganj Stadium, Sadar Purana quila, Latouche road, Lalbagh number 3, Indira Nagar (Munshi Puliya), Gomti Nagar, Bijnor, Bagiya Number 3, and Gosaiganj.
Similarly, the model shops falling in the category are in Munshi Puliya, and Patrakaar Puram. The list of country made liquor shops that face closure included those on Latouche Road, Lalkuan, Hussainganj crossing, Chitwapur, Sub shop Iradat Nagar, Roop Pur Khadram Ram Lila Maidan, Madiyaon, Kharka, Sardari Khera, Kailashpuri, Latouche Road No 2, Victoria Ganj, Gomti Nagar number 2, Ghazipur, sub shop Bramhapuri, Indira Nagar Poly technique crossing, Anaura Kala, Takruhi bazaar, sub shop Parag dairy LDA colony Kanpur Road, Purani Chungi, Bagiya number 3, Hindu khera Amausi, Gaurigaon, Kanausi, sub shop Shyam nagar, sub shop Devi Khera, Amaniganj etc.
