PREPARATIONS WERE in full swing in Muslim households in the State Capital on the eve of Id-uz-Zuha on Sunday. Apart from the Idgah, namaz will be held at over 50 mosques in Bhopal on Monday. The biggest congregation will be at Idgah followed by Taj-ul Masajid, Moti Masjid, Jama Masjid, Sikandaria Maidan and Arif Nagar.

The prayers at Idgah will be held at 8:15 am followed by Taj-ul Masajid (8:30 am), Jama Masjid (8.45 am) and Moti Masjid (9:00 am), according to Muslim Tehwar Committee’s Hifzur Rahman.
People were out on the streets for last-minute purchase till late night. Excitement ran high amongst children on the eve of Id while women were busy cooking delicacies for the festival.
