INDIAN Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM) organised a continuing medical education (CME) programme here on Wednesday.

Dr R K Chaudhary, Professor and Head, Transfusion Medicine SGPGI Lucknow, and Dr Prashant Agrawal, Associate Professor Transfusion Medicine SGPGI, Lucknow, informed participants about the latest techniques and uses of platelets in conditions of haemorrhagic fevers.

Dr Agrawal also talked about the latest techniques of erythropheresis, especially in cases of anaemia. Dr Neelkamal Kapoor, President IAPM, Bhopal chapter, welcomed the guests and delegates. Dr Manisha Singh conducted the programme and Association’s secretary Dr Suresh Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
