Explosion in fire-cracker sack kills two

Two persons were killed and as many injured in an explosion in sack of fire-crackers in Ashiyana area, police sources said in Lucknow today.

Two persons were killed and as many injured in an explosion in sack of fire-crackers in Ashiyana area, police sources said here today. Sarvesh Soni (32) and Himanshu Lodh ((25) were seriously injured when a sack stuffed with fire-crackers which they were carrying exploded in Aurangabad village yesterday, they said.

Sarvesh and Himanshu were rushed to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to injuries, they said. Two others - Arun (15) and his brother Anand (12) - were also injured in the explosion, they said.
