Explosives recovered from bus in Assam

Two persons have been arrested after huge quantity of explosives and detonators were seized from a bus near Guwahati.

Two persons were arrested after huge quantity of explosives and detonators were seized from a bus near Guwahati, police said on Sunday.

The explosives, including 15 detonators and wires, were found in an Assam State Transport Corporation's bus coming from Azara on Saturday, police said.

Policemen fear militants were bringing the explosives for subversive activities in Guwahati city.
