The reservation controversy for admissions into junior colleges has spurred a 230-member Facebook community — FYJC FOR ALL — who want all students, irrespective of the board to be given a fair chance. While the Facebook posts expressing their anguish was in short messaging service (SMS) language, Hindustan Times translated it into English.

POST 1: Reservation is for those downtrodden weaker sections of the society who cannot compete with people with better resources, knowledge and talent. Please support this rule and prove that you SSC guys are downtrodden, weak and uneducated and prove us ICSE/CBSE guys to be resourceful, knowledgeable and talented. Please continue supporting this rule. Don’t you agree that the state is trying to mock SSC students as downtrodden and weak? It is indirectly trying to show that ICSE/CBSE boards are superior to SSC board. And SSC guys like jesters are laughing on a joke cracked on themselves. Don’t you guys have the spirit to compete with us without any f*****g reservation or percentile,” said Hussain Motiwalla, a member.
POST 2: Why this rule is illegal
POST 3: Look at the audacity of this man! Time to be ready with legal options,” said a concerned Hema Dahiya whose child has scored 87 per cent in the ICSE board examination.
