A Class XII student, who failed to clear his Board exams for the second time, committed suicide in Dadri on Friday, reports HT Correspondent.

Amit Bansal (19), a student of Sunshine Convent School on Amka Road, jumped in front of a train.

“He had left for a cyber cafe early in the morning to check his results. His results were declared at 10am. When he did not return after an hour, we thought he had gone to a friend’s place,” said Aman Singh, a relative.

“A few hours later we heard that the body of a youth was found on the tracks near Bodaki railway station. We identified and found the result slip from the cyber cafe in his pocket,” he added.
