Sleuths of Crime and investigation wing of Puducherry police unearthed a fake liquor producing unit at Uruvayaru near in Puducherry, police said on Sunday.

The unit was unearthed during a routine patrolling in the village yesterday. Fake seals, corks, arrack and other materials needed for producing liquor were seized from the place.

No arrestes were made in this connection, police said.
